During my stay in Fujinomiya, the full view of Mount Fuji only revealed itself three times. I had hoped to see its snow-capped peak, but the mountain remained bare—an unusual sight, possibly due to lingering warm air in autumn.
Inspired by the works of Hokusai and Hiroshige, I aimed to capture Mount Fuji with a similar sense of place and perspective. I wandered on foot and by car, literally “chasing” the mountain whenever it appeared from behind the clouds.
