I also have a reason why I randomly book for a night stay in my hometown. I have a few more nights to go to reach the Gold status. And been wanted to do a test shot in a hotel room as my reference portfolio.
Because you’ll never know one day I might get contacted and assigned to photograph a hotel room in the future.
The Room that I booked is King Guest Room, it’s located on the upper floor facing KK Cities Skylines. If you’re lucky with good weather, probably will experience beautiful sunset on this side.
Wish I brought my mini-strobe light to enhance the overall image. So far it shows the spaces of what a hotel looks like.

Always with an on-timer when capturing the interior and of course, the most important equipment for this kind of Photography is the tripod. I’m using the Sirui T005SK, very light and portable for travel usage.
