Flanegan B Photo Office has finally sprung to life after two weeks of meticulous interior designing, painstakingly moving the photographic equipment, and adding a touch of elegance with movable partitions. It was a momentous occasion, especially after securing the trading license in the late afternoon, as the space transformed into a hub of creativity.
As I step into the Photo Office, I am filled with excitement for the endless possibilities that lie ahead. This is where hours will be spent immersed in the art of photography, brainstorming ideas and fearlessly experimenting with different styles and techniques during studio sessions. It’s not just a workplace; it’s a sanctuary of inspiration.
Friends who pay a visit can stay awhile, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere. Prospective clients seeking discussion and collaboration can drop by and join me before we venture downstairs to the cozy café, where ideas and projects can be nurtured over cups of steaming coffee.
In terms of professional services, my aim is to utilize the studio primarily for portraiture and product photography. Portraiture will take centre stage, with an emphasis on headshots, corporate portraits, editorial shoots, commercial endeavours, and intimate family groupings. Product photography will be an exciting avenue for collaborating with emerging businesses, helping them enhance their visual product value and elevate their brand image.
The front office of the Flanegan B Photo Office will double as an enchanting art gallery, dedicated solely to the captivating world of photography. The grand opening is scheduled for the 7th of July, promising to be an awe-inspiring event. Initially, the spotlight will be on my own extensive photography archives, showcasing the culmination of years of artistic endeavours. Following this, I have exciting plans to curate a series of group exhibitions, shining a spotlight on talented local photographers, their unique perspectives showcased in harmonious unity.
