Still stuck in 2019

Early 2019 shows a great promising to me it is going to be a new start until something unexpected happens until the year end.

And we are now in the year 2021, a new norm where constant lockdown and a lot of prohibited rules cannot do as a Photographer. Especially in Malaysia.

2019 is the year where I sold all my DSLR, Lighting Equipment and move to a mid-range Mirrorless Camera due to my change of job at the time. I’m no longer will be in the studio since 2017 and taking a break as a full-time photographer.

2019 was also the year of I thought a second chance for me to live and work in Japan again. Somehow It didn’t last long that the previous one and also not a very fruitful journey I had as a Photographer.

A lot of my close friend and relatives still talk about my bad luck until now. Maybe I should go to temples or meeting shaman to throw the bad luck spirit.

Lastly, 2019 is the year of awakening for me and accepting the rejection and failure I went through.

Last Video in Japan before heading back to Malaysia.

Here are my favourite photograph I’ve taken in 2019 b.c (before corona/covid).

All Photograph are owned by me and has no usage rights for personal, commercial outside of this website.

Can’t believe I spent almost most of my 20’s in Japan and the outcome was a disappointed one.
Nevertheless, I still love the place so much although it is slowly changing compare to the early days.

At least their Photography and Creative Industry is still going strong and intact compare to where I am now, Malaysia.
