Imagine… KK main public transportation is Train Subway

Imagine in 10 years time.. Kota Kinabalu finally have their own Metro Line. I wish We have now so that I won’t drive my own car that often.. Malas cari parking bah! hahaha

So, This is my Ideal Metro Train/Subway Line of Kota Kinabalu including nearest zone state.

Purpose Metro Line for Kota Kinabalu and nearest district.

Blue Line = North – South

Red Line = West – East

Blue Line Metro will be one of the most longest road to ever built and construct as a Metro line for Kota Kinabalu Metro including the nearest district such as Tuaran and Papar.

While Red Line Metro will be focus more on the interior side of Kota Kinabalu City all the way to Donggongon.

Ticket Fare :

Zone Central Only = half day (6 hours) RM2 | Daily RM3.50 | Weekly RM20 | Monthly RM60.

Zone Outer Only = half day (6 hours) RM1.50 | Daily RM3 | Weekly RM16 | Monthly RM50.

All Zone Fare (Can use in both zone) = half day (6 hours) RM3 | Daily RM5 | Weekly RM30 | RM100.

Blue Line Metro :

Tuaran – Tamparuli – Telipok – Sepanggar – UMS/1B – Inanam – Likas – Kampung Likas – Stadium Likas – KK Terminal – Gaya Street – Api Api – Sembulan – Tanjung Aru (Central/Interchange) – KKIA (Express & Normal service) – Kepayan – Petagas – Putatan – Lokkawi – Kinarut – Papar – Beaufort – Tenom.

- Express Line from Airport to KK Terminal – UMS/1B and Sepanggar where arrival passenger will taking cabs or special bus to their hotel destination.

- Express Line from Tenom & Beaufort to Tanjung Aru (Central) where they can interchange to Red Line Metro or continue its destination using normal service.

Zone Central Location :

Likas <-> Putatan.

Zone Outer Location :

Tuaran <-> UMS/1B & Lokkawi <-> Tenom.

Red Line Metro :

Tanjung Aru (Central/Interchange) – Kepayan Ridge – Lido – Lintas – Damai – Kolombong- Bundusan – Donggongon.

Red Line Metro is a Zone Central Only.

Metro Buses :

Metro Buses will be focus in every train station and also most dense area where resident only walk less than 10mins to bus stop and arrive just infront of train station.

There will be Buses starts from Train Station A and stop at Train Station B for those residential area live quite far from the train station.
