Haven’t think about what kind of storyboard i want to do for Digital Video 10secs movie. It’s due in 1 week time.
I wonder where the heck is all my money? What did i buy ah? I didnt realize duit boleh terbang begitu cepat oh for the first time. Tahan lar for 2 weeks (checking my receipt where all my money donate to).

After self portrait shots, I didnt move the lighting because i found out that i can shoot something interesting with ‘Chair’. Since the studio itself have 3 different kind of chair. Bah apa lagi..

2 more months to go balik Kampung. I’m so worried about my driver’s license, Imagine bah i cannot renew because expire for how long already. Punya main sandi tu…. I don’t know why we have to pay for driver’s license? Nandeyo? Watashiwa honto-ni wakaranai. haraso?

I’m seriously learning Japanese language now.
I don’t want to stuck in the fantasy anymore. I just realize that Katakana are easier than Hiragana when it comes to reading. I hate memorizing stuff but, sudah saya cakap i don’t want to be in fantasy anymore.

Hiragana, Katakana, Kanji… If i can’t write, i know i can read it. Haha
Same as my chinese lar.. I can read more than 500 character i think but i only know how to write less than 100 character.
Thanks to NJStar, i just type hanyi pinyin. I still able to sending email to any chinese photographer, ,with broken mandarin.

When I saw birdy in front of me and glance at me for a while. I wonder what is the birdy thinking?

Hello Burung Oz.. From which country you just came from?, indada dia reply to me.

Seriously, When the birdy look at me for a while.. My mind kept on telling me what is the birdy thinking.
Stress suddenly comes to me and i cannot hear the sounds of the wind and yarra river for a moment.

this is how i feel, quiet, dark, emptiness…

So I kept on asking myself why the birdy still standing there for almost 2 mins.. And i realize, birdy wants me to take birdy’s portrait on my polaroid camera.
I grab my sx-70 polaroid from my camera bag.. Open and my eyes stare at the viewfinder and focus, then birdy stand still 1 seconds for me to take birdy’s photo.

Uinah, posing michael jackson bah si birdy. Must be Aussie’s Bird Idol ni.

Okeh, I’m bored… Story above is just a fiction. Tidak ada berkaitan with manusia and haiwan burung.

I like one of CUT photographer thoughts about “What does the photograph mean in the 21st century?”
This is his/her answer :

Photography is getting much more recognition in the art world than it used to, when photography was considered to be all about landscapes and flower shots and portraits. But today, there are more and more artists who choose to use this medium to work with. Photographers are being recognised as artists and not ‘just’ as photographers anymore. Wolfgang Tillsman winning the Turner Prize in 2000 proves that.

On the other hand, due to the advanced technology of mobile devices (phone, pda, etc) and digital technology, almost everyone owns a camera. or thinks they are a photographer - a lot of people tend not to respect the photographer’s profession, or think that there is nothing special in terms of technique in photographic art works.

So I think, today, there is no specific meaning as to what photography should be. People might see photographs that are being hung on the wall of galleries today as nothing special - just someone’s portrait, or a picture of an empty room. Some still think that photography is all about salon images. For others, it is all about the gadgets, purchasing the biggest lens to impress their peers, or a tool for camwhoring themselves, capturing themselves every 5 minutes and uploading it onto the internet.
