When Bad and Good Day combine in 1 day.

By Flanegan

Today really had a starting bad day.. Then good afternoon… At the end of the day… Bad day comes back to me eventually.

- Morning, had a meeting with the editorial team. But when the chief editor become so ‘angkuh’, looks like everyone kept quiet like a clown. I’m the one who ended up having a debate with the chief editor.
At the end of the debate… I purposely answer everything wrong just to satisfied an old man. Imagine if he talks like that in Somalia, I think the people already roast him for a meal.

Inda apa lar.. however I get on with my day.

- Afternoon, got a call from Sabah Art and Photographic Society President to have a short meeting in the city regards about their project that related with KK City itself.
Good News for me… Looks like I can involve something I wanted to do but somehow, I got feel a lil bit pressure when working with a group of 10-20years enthusiast Photographer who just stick with 1 think and will never accept others people opinion. =_=”

Will update more about the project soon.

- Evening, went back to office and want to transfer my photo into office’s server but somehow… My External Harddisk can’t read under windows XP. Windows kept on asking me to format my HDD.
Haiya…. Damn you Windows Vista!

Phobia suddenly hits me cos I’ve lost most of my photo folio before last April and to avoid that. After work, I went to Karamunsing and purchase a Kick-Ass 2TB external back-up with sync HDD to transfer all my Photo Folio while my current 1TB and 640GB HDD will become my main Harddisk usage.

25% of my salary just gone like.. Screw you High Technology! Screw You Digital Cameras…

- I have to missed my first Intermediate Japanese class too so that I can recover some of my files and transfer to my new external back-up hard disk. めちゃ大変です!

And then, got rumours someone started to compare me and another person just because no news from me.

What a life..
At the end of the night.. Have a great chat with intelligent people while uploading yesterday’s merdeka photo into the office’s server.

Tomorrow gonna be another day. Or should I say “Same Shit Different Day!” or back in Australia we used to make it short “SSDD!”

Anyhoo, Found this song from a Music Game called “Utacchi” via NDS and started to addicted this song called “Hajimete no Chu” or in english “My First Kiss” or in Malay “Ciuman pertama ku”

初めてのチュウ、君とチュウ~~

While I kept on listening for at least 50 times in a row.. Suddenly I hold my guitar and translated the lyrics to BM Sabah and record it my tumblr site :

Ciuman Pertama ku… Dari kamu~~~

Oh ya, someone ask me about my december trip to Japan where I lived for a week. I booked a guesthouse-inn called “New Koyo Hotel” which is located North East side of Tokyo called “Minamisenju”  2-3 stops away to Akihabara and 1 stop to Ueno Station.

New Koyo Hotel (http://www.newkoyo.com/)

It cost around RM90+ a night, not bad for a single room but you have to share bathrooms with your fellow resident who go there for hols.
I don’t mind sharing bathroom since I’ve lived in a studio apartment shared bathroom for 7months in Melbourne before.

Bah.. that’s all for this post and have a great few days.

Dumbass who loves to Fitnah.

By Flanegan

I am So Dissapointed with this Fanatic Religion until they forget facts and common sense. Even God can’t help this because bad spirit has control your mindset.

This is how bad or uneducated religious if Malaysia keep on sticking with only 1 believe without knowing basic of each religion in the world.
Once someone started to ‘fitnah’ some useless crap information that they think is ‘true’ because they don’t know the process.

Makin BODOH lar them.

The whole world will laugh at this because the fact is false after all. I’m a born Catholic family but I’m not as holy or often go to church bcos I’m still stick with what I believe in Myself.

Holy Water is not a Magic Water. It won’t transform you to believe in “Nabi Isa”. It’s just a water that got blessed like how you guys love to stick all those jawi script at home. Why so havoc?

Tolong lar… The non-muslim respect you without saying anything. Kamurang sendiri yg suka2 bah talk nonsense.

I tot Fitnah is the worst sins than killing people? Am I right kan.

Common knowledge y’all!!

And also in the Photos doesn’t look Melayu at all.
Have you ever heard of Iban, Kadazan, Dusun or Murut ppl etc… The East Malaysian non-muslim Bumiputra people?
Most of them are born Christian/Buddhist/Taoist since “WE” join the federation of Malaysia. Not all are Muslim. We are 1World believe..

*sources from charity1313.blogspot.com* :
The 2 priests that you guys had been busily telling others is Rev. Fr. Paulus Toni Tantiono OFM Capuchin from Pontianak, Kalimantan who is currently teaching Bible Study in Seminari Tinggi Permatang Siantar Sumatera Utara, Indonesia; whilst the other priest at his back is Rev. Fr. Nicholas Stephen, from Penampang, Sabah and currently serving at St. John’s Parish, Tuaran. Both priest were of Chinese and Kadazan descendant respectively with no so called ‘Malay’ blood with them.

Now U know….

I hope this blog post can give you the facts and common sense to y’all.
Stop spreading false info to those people who don’t know anything and make them believe what you spread.

The right Chosen Path.

By Flanegan

I am Officially work as a Press Photographer for 1 month. Total event I covered is 32 event and wasted 80gbs of my hard disk.
While I’m on my way to work every morning and join the other Sabahan Drivers who didnt enjoy the congestion traffic from Petagas to Likas Square. I have lots of thinking about the career path I’ve chosen as a Press Photographer. The only 1 word can describe about now is “Unhappy”. I don’t know why~~ But of course you have to say “What a Fun Job!” to your bos lar. haha if not kena tanya like they investigating. HAHA
Of course there’s some certain thing that makes my work fun! and also most of the time… It does makes my morale and passion going down when it comes to taking pictures. My creative juice suddenly goes down to the drain faster than it used to be. I even can’t think straight lah.. What make it worst is Sitting in a office doing nothing with internet filter makes you feel like you are in North Korea.

I’ve met most of the Sabah Press Photographer. Of course some of them give you that shit face and most of them are friendly and had a good talk with them. But when it comes to work ethic! Oh my god.. No cooperation at all man~ Suddenly Press Photographer become like cats and dogs fighting for a right spot to shoot. What makes my teeth grinding is when you almost press the shutter suddenly there’s a Press Photographer appear in-front of you out of the blue without waiting for me finish taking pictures or at least say “excuse me”. It feels like I wanna cut their finger so that they can’t press a shutter anymore!

We should work as a team and cooperate to take some great story image. If I get the front row, I shoot 5 or 6 shot and then I give way to another press photographer to shoot so that they get a nice picture for readers to see too!

Bekerjasama is the key! If you dont understand english :P

At the end of the day, no matter how hard you struggle. We share the same photos and same stories too. Just that we work for different press company.

Common Sense yo!! Common Sense….

Do you wanna know the real story about how I get my job into Insight Sabah? I randomly send a resume to them in the middle of the night and then a day later I got the job as Press Photographer. LOL
I accept this job because I need extra cash for my trip to Japan lar. Full Time Temporary Job to name it.

I had a good discuss with my parents. Althou my parent are quite supportive with my thought.  They just worried that, u know if something happen with them. They afraid that I can’t take the whole responsibility to take over the family matters if I resign from this job.

But somehow in within 1 month. I found a complicated path. Should I say it was coincident? Have a few talk with the old generation of photographer and hope they kept a promise about my plan. If the plan is doing well. It’ll be happen in a matter of time.

Till Now I’ll keep it silently and confidential until the plan is confirm. aight! XD

Let’s just say… I’ve chosen a right paths not to work on saturday evening and went to Palm Square for the SPPS Photo Exhibition.

2 Photo to Exhibit.

I’ve submit 2 photo to SPPS. During the opening ceremony I met most of the association photographer. Had a good talk with them, show my folio to them, tell them about my plan. They look so interested and wham~~
They started a few thought about it too.

You know… It’s good to have someone discover your work. But it takes time for people to realize it. Eventually, you need balls of steel to stand up and introduce yourself and tell them what are you doing and what are you intention! Show your work and walla~ they discover you! It’s like I’m telling them “I’m your new evolution~”  something like that. haha

Now I need to focus more on writing my plan and proposal to them. Hopefully work won’t stop me doing it.

I’ll continue to post more about it. I hope this post gives you a good thinking too! Especially to all the young people there…

“Life is too short, There won’t be next time. Catch your dream and work hard towards with all your strength”.

Anyways….. This year, 2 of my fav Japanese Talent Girl will be graduating from Idol World which I like :D but 1 of the the news is quite sad news for me lar. LOL
First was Ono Erena who will graduate from AKB48 (thank god!) end of this Summer. No more wota attack! hahaha
And the most shocking one is Kamei Eri will graduate from one of my fav girl group Morning Musume end of this Spring Concert, together with 2 girls which is Jun Jun and Lin Lin.

(Left-Right)Ono Erena & Kamei Eri.

Ono Erena graduate from AKB48 to focus more on acting career. So I will be seeing her again in Japan’s Prime Drama Show or Prime Movie in the future. Ganbatte Erena-chan!
But for Kamei Eri,  She Graduate from Morning Musume because of her health problem. Which mean, after graduate she might not joining Entertainment Industry anymore. She’ll focus more to regain her healthness back, Her last concert event will be the last Spring Concert this December.

So Tokyo! I will be seeing you this December for 1 week!
Hopefully I can get the concert ticket and seeing the last concert of Kamei Eri. You know, without Kamei Eri. My interests about Japan Culture won’t exist! I won’t research more detail about Japanese Photography. haha

Imagine bah… Just 1 Japanese Idol can make a person loves from 1 thing to another thing.

HELLO PROJECT or UPFRONT or Tsunku! If you read this post.. Reserve 1 ticket for me bah! Reserve only ehh, I will pay the ticket! I didn’t ask for free ticket.. LOL LOL

*facepalm self*

Good News for Sabahan too! MAS decide to turn Kota Kinabalu International Airport as the Eastern Focal Point (Hub) for East Asian Continent destination. Which mean flight from China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Australia will land in Kota Kinabalu first then transit another flight for those who wanna head to Kuala Lumpur. Another Good News is from Kota Kinabalu to Tokyo, the plane will arrive or land in Haneda Airport instead of Narita Airport. Haneda is located in Tokyo unlike Narita which locate in Chiba Prefecture and quite a distant from Tokyo.

So ya, My 1 month backpacking to Japan plan have to on-hold until I have the time and enough cash. But I’ll be visiting Tokyo for 1 week this December just to attend Kamei Eri’s Last Morning Musume Concert at JCB Hall. Also hopefully to get a few interview with 1 or 2 Commercial Photography Studio during my 1 week trip.

2010 Tiger Year is a tough year rite? Not only for me But I bet most people too..

As for mine it was really a tough year.. At least Sia inda jadi orang gila lar. Amen
1. Grand ma Passed away.
2. Frustration with Art and Photography Scene/Industry in Sabah.
3. Met lots of Kiasu People who don’t want to lose or don’t want to learn something.
4. Haven’t get my paid from my 2 months contract job.
5. Press Photographer makes me lost my mojo-jojo.
6. Sudden Graduation of Kamei Eri.

At least something good happen too!
1. Travelling around Sabah, learn allot about the landscape, people and their lifestyle.
2. Meeting some Important Figure who can help change the evolution of Sabah Photography Scene.
3. Improve my Japanese language.

Luck
1. First Interview and straight away got a Job as Press Photographer for Insight Sabah.
(But i got bad feeling with this job… macam kena stalk. HAHA)

What a great Journey After all for 2010 and Year of Tiger. (I’m a Tiger boy if you’re curious).

Hope end of the year I’ll have a great ending for 2010 lar.

Alrite.. That’s all from me!
