I like the title of the topic.. 6 more days to go till my assessment day and half year to go until my final assessment.

Currently feeling desolate… Honestly!! seems like 2009 giving me plenty of content moody.
I hope everything goes well by the end of the year and wearing the graduation gown walking on the stage and receive my certificate and get away from the place i called temporary home in my past 3 years of my life.

At first I want to apologize to my dear reader I rarely update and share what’s I’ve done in the past few months. I’m not that really busy but sometimes can be very-very busy and etc.. Currently I am mentally struggling how am i gonna present my masterpiece and also had a really bad-bad dream for the past few months. Some of them I can’t remember once I’m awake and some of them until now I can remember what’s my dream about clearly. It always give me massive headache if I’m shockingly awake from the dream…. I can be pretty darn tired after that and upset with very simple thing. =_=

So… It’s the end of first semester of my final year and I have 1 more semester to go (hopefully). To be honest, I can’t think of any Plan B and Plan C for myself after graduate because I need a steady financial for my original plan. I don’t want to ask my parents help anymore. My 2 precious sister haven’t finish their major study yet.

I’ll post another time what’s my plan after graduate.

It is WEEK 11.. 1 Week to go for me to finish everything, but for the final year student the assessment day is on the 23rd – 25th June. Kira lama lagi lar..

Just woke up from an early bedtime (11pm) and now I’m unconsciously awake (3am)… Why lar my body screw up when it comes to sleep early!! haiyo

Oh ya, I guess my room apartment can be Sauna for a while because everytime I look at the window I thought its raining. Then I realize all the steam punya water producing inside our living room. Kinda scary thou~~

I bought a few cheap offer accessories to pimp my dslr camera. The M.I.China Cable Release for only AUD5 arrive today in the mailbox. It works very fine but I don’t know how long will survive. LCD Protection and Softbox Flash Diffuser for AUD10 (CHEAP!!) might be arrive end of this week or Next Monday. Don’t you love ebay sometimes?

Computer Lab

Today… I wasted like 5 pieces of A4 & 2 pieces of A3+ Gold Fibre Silk paper.. >_<
Most of the A4 set I bought have this weird annoying line in the middle of the paper and I’m so gonna go back to the shop and ask for refund or a new set ehhh…The A3+ I print halfway suddenly I saw roller marks on the paper and I knew I have to nozzle check the printer and another piece is because of my clumsyness. I misplace the paper on something sticky and it create a dirty spot line on it. Sakit hatiku!!!

Around 8.30pm…. I give up from printing because spending 6-7hours looking at your own images & enhance for print can really spoil your mood. I seriously do… I bet a few people also have that feeling.. It can demoralize you!!

Well…. Usually it’s hard to get kick-@ss print in first print, Cos sometimes you feel the original image doesn’t look so right and ended up doing another 2 or 3 prints then compare which one is the best.. Some of them just looks good and some looks like a Masterpiece comes out from nowhere!!

I decide to print in A3+.. The image that got chosen as one of KL Photo Award Finalist and also exhibit at Annexe Gallery, KL.

I’m still writing my Reflection Statement for tomorrow’s Progressive Assessment. I just can’t find a perfect phrase or word when it comes to writing statement or overview. Even Thesaurus can’t help me either.. I want to watch Variety show!! >_<

Anyway, this week is progressive assessment week where all the final year student have to show their folio progress.
Well, for the commercial and fashion student can choose the time and date from Wed till Friday but Documentary student like me.. The time and date already set on Wednesday evening. Well, I have something to show but I just can’t write and think properly this past few days.

I’ve done my prints..

Test Print on A4.

I almost cried when i realize i just proof print it on A4. It look so nice.. very fine artsy piece.. Well, All my A4 prints will use for portfolio anyway or making it a book by the end of the year since i know where to make it.

Miss Dizzy in Super A3.

I have to say… It looks 100x better in a big print. The whole perspective itself change everything. I can’t stop looking at it for a while after I print my very first detail print.

120mm films and scissors.

I spent the whole evening scanning my film. Not only scan once.. I think I scan at least average 3 times for 1 expose just to get the right detail and color. I’ll save it as Tiff 16bit to my HDD and will starts edit it back home.

After done editing and color proof it. Tomorrow morning I’ll head to uni’s printer lab and start printing again.
Lunch with classmates maybe then head to the 3rd year lab for progressive assessment.
