Finally, I developed my B&W films. I think around 24 exposure of Ilford FP4 it took 6 months for me to finish it because my SLR film just laying on top of my desk.

Didn’t do much today..
Attend morning class, scans films in the lab, still thinking where to shoot for my montage.

Lots of thinking… My head gonna explore sooner or later.

Last year mid-September during my 1st year 2nd semester uni. I had a chance to shoot a portrait of Joe Flizzow for my first year portraiture folio.

Joe Flizzow perform inside the cruise for some malaysian student function.

Beside meeting Joe himself, His manager Amar and behind Too Phat and Kartel Records music DJ T-Bone was there too. Well, You need manager to take care of your schedule and DJ to play your music rite?

How did I contact them? Well, it’s easy story lar. I found their website and email to them, in less than 12 hours i got a reply and they say Joe Flizzow was interested too. So, BAH Apa lagi? Pigi lar bah. Since I need lots of Enviro-Portraits for my 1st year final folio, I went there with everything planned out (but i have no idea how will the environment looks like inside the cruise but nah~~ I solved it when i reach there.) and shoot a few photos for them. Before his performance begins, I setup all my lighting and shoot his personal portraits for my 1st year final folio.

I can’t remember which photo i submit for my folio but something like this.

And again, I know this photo is outdated sudahlar. (Blame myself because of some silly mistake all my blog since Feb 2006 has gone.) I would like to thanks to Kartel Records for accepting me to become one of their elite member *konon* for 1 night only. It was an experience for me shooting Malaysian Top Local Artiste and also a free cruise ride all along yarra riverside. I bet this is my first and last shots shooting Malaysian Artiste. Hopefully, I will have a chance again to work with some local back at home.

So guys, let’s support Malaysian Music Industry and get the original one. The more invest you give them (buying CD, Attending concert and Merchandise). Less than 5 years, the recording quality and Music Industry itself will almost have the same level as other famous overseas artist.
