Met a Rubber Tapper in my dream.
By Flanegan
Last nite, I had a dream. Met this guy in an unnamed city. Somewhere not so familiar, but I see a few of Sabah’s Native wandering around the city working as posmen, delivery driver, florist and a few of em wearing businessmen suits together with the East Asians where they are the major people in this city along with the white, african and latin people.
I was sitting in a cafe. Very nice atmosphere independent cafe playing Bossa Band music and the guy beside me apparently speak very thick Sabah BM on the phone with someone.
Since I’m confuse and mind went blank because I don’t know where the heck am I. After he hang up his mobile, I greet him and ask him “Kenapa ini bandar banyak orang kita ni?”. I think he shock with my answer, and he say “Orang kita terpaksa lari, kalo inda sengsara sebab kita kena paksa.” I have no idea what he saying, since both of us feel comfortable and able to converse in Sabah BM. I change my topic, I ask him what is he doing here and Where he lives? He says he work as a Rubber Tapper, lives in a new settlement town called “Jesselton” North West side of the city. I still remember he says That area used to be an empty land until some of us move here or got send here to settle a new life.
Once I heard what He said… I myself had a shock and I woke up from my dream eventually because I’m out of breath. =_=”
Usually I always dream about a scene as the eye of the story. But rarely become part of the dream. I can’t be bother everytime what kind of dream I have until I had this kind of dream yesterday.
Till now, 16 hours later I’m still curious about my dream. What’s the meaning? The Metaphor? I know it’s impossible for me to continue it again if I kept thinking about it.
Haishh…. potong stim saja because sesak nafas.
Anyway, I’ve translated Sayang Kinabalu Lyrics into Japanese Language for Japanese language Festival this October at UMS.
I’ll be part of the singing team if I’m not mistaken lah… Since I always naturally translate some non-Japanese Song into Japanese Language when I know the lyrics.
I decide to write the lyrics down on the paper and record then post it on the net. Just incase, maybe some of you guys or Japanese Audience would like to know the meaning of “Sayang Kinabalu” in Japanese way.
わかりますか? わかります Bah Kan? Say Ya jak.. HAHA
Anyway here’s the embed video of my Cover Version of “Sayang Kinabalu” in Japanese Language 日本語. “好きキナバル”
好きキナバル日本語バーション
この歌はいいですか? Ok ka? ekekeke
Maybe Next time I’ll do a perfect and better one. This one seems so rush, once i finish jot down the lyrics I straight away strum the guitar and record it.
I also got Sad news from the Idol world :

Ono Erena graduating AKB48.
One of my fav in group. I started to watch AKBingo and Shukan AKB because of her Violent/Yankee Attitude. She’s like in between Fujimoto Miki and Konno Asami of Morning Musume, I guess that’s what makes her interesting to me. She’ll be focus more on Acting career in the future and her plan now is to pursue her Study in Acting in Overseas according from AKB48 sources.
Bah… Good Luck Ono Erena. Everyone who watch AKBingo or Shukan AKB or even listening to AKB48 song will be support you silently. がんばって下さい!
I guess that’s all from me. I’m so nervous hows the outcome of my bulky print photobook!
And oh ya, I often update some random stuff at my tumblr side. Hop on to http://yabuki.flaneganb.net. Bookmark it ya!

What’s on your bookshelves?
By Flanegan
I believe everyone have a bookshelves, it not pun~~ They have a few book collection which they love to keep it for reference in the future. Cupboard for your book pun kira lar.
Do you have Bookshelves?
I do have Bookshelves.. 2 in my room but here I’ll only show the important section to share with you boys and girls.
Picture below :

That’s how my Important section Bookshelves looks like.. Lots of Arts and Photography related books and also I keep my file and folder on the left side, lots of important document, films and useful piece of paper I got it from my lecturer or internet. I prefer read it like that because holding it with your palm does give me more motivation than reading it on computer screen.
And also, I got this habit if I go someone’s house.. If I saw a Tiny or Huge Bookshelves at the living room, I always ask the ‘tuan rumah’ Can I go and have a look what kind of book they collects. ekekeke
So tuan-tuan and puan-puan sekalian~~
What’s on your Bookshelves?
And here’s my random Video Clip about How to Develop your Black and White Film :
My voice so annoying here.. Bcos I try to increase my video speed.. haha
Bah! Happy Thursday

Don’t be a Smart ASS.
By Flanegan
I didnt censored the word ASS for the first time. Because The title deserves not to be censored.
I found a hilarious link about this Epic Flickr Prank. Where the guy wanted to see how many smart asses give feedback and comment on ‘someone’ picture they suppose to know.
The result is successful!!
And this is the print screen below :

Mario’s Bike LOL
I’m not sure why they wanna do this kind of Prank but I guess some of them sick and tired with some of those who giving unrelated comment without knowing the intention or accuracy of it.
If you know who is the owner of the picture above. I give you 1 of my postcard.
If you don’t know Click this link, if you curious who’s the owner of the image.
Maybe I should do a FB Epic Photo Prank too using one of M’sian Pioneers Photographer such as Sultan Ismail, Koh Eng Tong, K.F Wong and etc.. And see what are their comment or feedback without knowing the image belongs to who?
Nah just kidding I’m not that bad.
I’m keeping an eye on a few ‘photographer konon’ on FB where they like to give a comment to those enthusiast and try to improve them without giving them an accurate feedback. There’s ALLOT OF THEM, I can’t remember their name~ From gossip source I heard they have their own group..
And also I never leave a comment or feedback for those who loves to tag image without my face on FB. I always remove myself from there.
If you want feedback! Come and meet me face to face and show me your image printed at least 6 x 4inch. That’s Photograph!
Well, I can’t blame to those commenter also lar.. Creating a new tribe there and 1 day they believe they can get benefit from there.
Get more tribes means they get more quantity (network) to earn extra fast money income and wasted it on other stuff. Quality terus lari~~
And also, Reading their Status sometimes give me creeps. U know those status minta attention punya status? mcm gitu lar..
Syukur lar gawd give you life to live.
So I want to give advise some of y’all..
Think before giving comment or feedback. Just keep quiet if you have no idea what to say.
I’ve seen a few over-dose Comment (not related at all! such as “Gambar tak lurus, gambar lari warna, gambar hilang compo ..etc etc”.) and then I check on the commenter Pics itself on flickr, blogspot or even their photo album..
Damn! Are they blind? The new enthusiast has a better photos ehh!!
So It’s getting the Fame afterall lar?
Bah.. That’s all from me lar.
I hope y’all learn something here.
Don’t feel bad, if you think it’s you! I never mention everyone.. Sepa termakan cili dia terasa orang bilang!
Here’s the original flickr link. I think this prank is few years ago, so got a lil bit of changes in the description and also comment~~
Even if you delete your comment.. The people still can retrieve back!
That’s double owned!! Ouch, I can feel their balls kena cabul!
bah!!
Berhati-hati memakai Internet.
Don’t just press the shutter y’all! Study the History.
That’s one of the reason why I taking degree in Photography. Not holding a camera.. Knowing the whole thing from History, Revolutionary, the Pioneers and etc..
Did you know Photography was under “Science Genre” first before they proclaimed it as an Art form before joining the Painters?
Now u know… Don’t wiki only!! There’s lots of sources u can get on the net by those academic photographer, curator.. They know what are they talking.
p/s : never take things seriously~~

Launching of Learning You
By Flanegan

Alvin MY, or known as Alvin from well-known RnB Group Infinatez who rise to Stardom from a Program show called Gangstarz (ngam ka?). Launch his first ever EP at Venetian Club somewhere at Jalan Lintas, Lido area.
And so, I went there with my friend to take coverage for his website lar. The show starts at 8.30pm if not mistaken after the guest of Honor Datuk Masidi Manjun arrive to give the local artist/talent support.

The Stage
If you are into RnB, Soul or something that can relax your mind after busy with your work life.
Alvin MY definitely has the Soul and RnB ‘ingredient’ in his voice. or should I call him the only Sabahan Soul?
hehehe

Sing a Song
Datuk Masidi gave a good speech about Current Music Industry in Sabah.
He pointed out that, all the lounge bar in Sabah only can hire a local Sabahan talent to perform. Somehow it works but, the management of lounge bar kinda disappointed with some local talent who take some audience song request (for example play the same song “Soldier of Fortune” everytime.). And also some of them who signed a contract for 3 month but only ended up appear for 1 and half month. I think the most disappointed want is “Sabah Times”..
Bah… Mari lar improve and be a better one so that everyone respect us. Actually there’s more lar but I’m lazy to mention all of em. Faham-faham lar.

Q&A session with Datuk Masidi and Alvin MY

Alvin MY Signing his EP’s CD to Datuk Masidi Manjun

How Much : RM10 (cheaper than your f*ck*n pirated CD)
