Let’s talk about Photography. While reading some good articles and also checking some photo studios, photo agent and photographer’s web. I found this very interesting Video Interview of Dan Winters.
Dan Winters is an American Photographer based in Austin and L.A now and his work are pure Photography if you know what I mean. His portrait open my mind again and his interview freshen me up generally.
Since I back home KK, It’s challenging and also frustrating for me to talk about general photography to some photographers here. It’s all about cameras, photoshop Technic and hot girls only or the worst one is Wedding! or racial political between chinese photographer, bumiputra photographer or KDM photographer. Even this brand Nikon, Canon and Sony thingy really nonsense lar. It’s Malaysia afterall!

I stress it out here also useless bah kan! Manalah orang pandai faham ni. No 1 lawan balik pakai mulut or pakai keyboard jak, but never do any action. or minta support dari kawan counter attack.

After watching the video above like 4-5 times. Suddenly I miss shooting b&w films and print it using my trusty Czechoslovakia old Enlarger I got from Photo Market in Ballarat, Australia.
Well, some certain Photography is already dead indeed. The world is changing.. People’s attitude changing, Economic Influence Changing, Politic Changing.. Photography is changing too.

Too much personal stuff wanted to share but ngehh~~ It’s Bad idea to spread it out in the interwebs. I even feel awkward to share sumthing to my friend and my family.
It’s related about my future career and future.

People says KK has lots of potential and chances. My field, does not have that for a moment unless I spend million of dollars to make it alive. Heck even myself doesn’t have RM100 in my bank account now.
Oh Art! Oh Photography! Oh blardy Sabah Art Gallery where art thou!
Even writing a grant proposal in Sabah. They always asking what is the benefit to them and how many profit can they get. Profit you’re backside! *scratch head*

I’m thinking of going somewhere after all.
