Photographers from 13 countries for Congress in KK

KOTA KINABALU : Photographers from 13 countries will come together for the 21st Federation of Asean Photographic (FAPA) Congress on DEC 1-3 at 1Borneo.
Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Masidi Manjun is expected to officiate at the opening on Dec 1.
Organising chairman Datuk Clement Yeh said FAPA has over 150 members from 16countries excluding the US but during the three day congress, some 20 photographers from the uS would be taking part.
He said apart from congress, the event will include a photo exhibition, seminar outdoor photography session and cultural performances, among others.
Sports Toto Malaysia Sdn Bhd Manager for East Malaysia. Francis S. C. Ng, said the gaming company was happy to help in the sponsoring of the event.
He said although the contribution might be small, it is part of their corporate social responsibility (CSR).
FAPA will be having a committee meeting on Nov 31.
Weird i can’t find their official website or so whatever contacts in KK.

swordie – no worries, is on the october newspaper my dad copy it for me.
Murphy – i wonder what kinf of participation you join? hehehe i might interested to volunteer them but not interested to join like competition or talks.. hehe
